5th Tasting Exhibition in Psathotopi in the framework of the AliAmvra Project Psathotopi has become a gastronomic destination of Arta, through the organized actions of the program “AliAmvra” implemented by the Chamber of Arta within the framework of the Act “Utilization of new technologies for the organization of the market and the promotion of fisheries and aquaculture products of Amvrakikos-Artas origin”. As a platform for the dissemination and promotion of the local gastronomy and the wealth of Amvrakikos, the Arta Chamber of Commerce organised on Sunday 15 October a tasting exhibition in the central square of the village with a large number of attendees tasting the local dishes. In this tasty journey, traditional recipes cooked by the taverns ”O Aggelos” of Mr. Tsiantis and ”The Hunter’s Nest” of Mrs. Xylogianni were presented. The central square of the village was filled with people who had the opportunity to taste the excellent quality and taste of traditional dishes and to be informed about the actions of the aliAmvra programme. Participants had the opportunity to taste a range of dishes prepared especially for the event, such as sea bream, mullet, sardines and grilled and baked eel. The event was honoured with the presence of the President of the Arta Chamber, Ioannis Golomazos, the Second Vice President, Vasilios Magkoutis, as well as municipal and regional councillors.
